Since 1935 when the brand was founded as a telephone company name Citizens Utilities Company, Frontier Communications has grown and diversified its offerings to include telephone, Internet, home security services, and television. Frontier customers are able to lock in their Internet pricing for a period of three years after starting service, despite a contract not being required by Frontier for this benefit.
